7th jan
went on a ferry to the telus science museam. the ferry was the smallest ever a very cute little boat that has to be seen to be believed (i have photos) very colourful and cute, we saw quite hugh yachts in the harbour but our ferry was very nippy and they run every 15mins. fantastic experience as was the childrens science museam. robin loved the museam his favorite bit was the dinosaurs so he says but we could not get him off all the hands on games. both jim and i enjoyed all the hands on stuff as well and we also enjoyed the films they showed. we were there nearly all day. we then went on the skytrain to get back to the hotel. it was rush hour and completely easy to use, just like the dlr about 10 years ago. we then had a drink in a nice bar and then went to white spot for dinner. they were showing a hockey match and jim said he had been to the hockey at the london arena years ago with me but i cannot remember ever going (perhaps it was another bird!)
we are going to watch a film on the tv and chill and then get up early to go to hospital tomorrow.
